Here are a few with very brief explanations:

Cosmological Argument (First Cause)
Everything that begins to exist has a cause. Since the universe began to exist, it too must have a cause. Because space, time, matter, and energy all came into existence with the universe, its cause must exist beyond them. This points toward an eternal, immaterial, powerful Creator.

Contingency Argument
Why is there anything at all instead of nothing? You exist because of your parents, a building exists because someone built it, and so on. But if everything depended on something else – then you never actually get a full explanation for why anything exists at all, because you’re always pointing to something prior. This points to a necessary being – one that does not depend on anything else for existence.

Ontological Argument
This argument tries to prove God exists using logic alone. In super simple terms is states: If God is the greatest thing you can imagine, and real things are better than imaginary ones, then God has to be real – otherwise He wouldn’t be the greatest.

Necessary Being Argument
Something must exist that never began, never ends, and depends on nothing else. Otherwise we would have an endless chain of dependent things with no ultimate explanation. God is that necessary being.

Argument from Abstract Objects
Truths such as mathematics, logic, and moral principles seem timeless and not made of matter. These point to an eternal mind in which such truths are grounded.

Fine-Tuning Argument
The laws and constants of the universe appear set with extraordinary precision. If they were even slightly different, life would be impossible. An intentional design (i.e. a law-giver) is the best explanation.

Teleological Argument (Design)
When we see complex systems working toward a purpose, we naturally think of design. The order and complexity of nature points towards an intelligent designer.

Information Argument
DNA contains coded information, like a language or software. Since information comes from intelligence, from a mind, this points to an intelligent source.

Argument from Beauty
Human beings are deeply moved by beauty in art, music, and nature. This goes beyond just survival and points to a Creator who values meaning and wonder.

Moral Argument
People recognise that some things are truly right or wrong. If objective moral values exist, there must be a moral lawgiver beyond human opinion.

Argument from Conscience
Most people experience an inner sense of moral obligation. This is evidence of God’s moral imprint on humanity.

Argument from Desire
Humans have deep longings for meaning, purpose, and lasting joy that nothing in this world fully satisfies. This desire for meaning and purpose makes more sense in a created world than a purely accidental one. People instinctively know there is more to life than just our existence, and this points beyond this world to God.

Argument from Personal Experience
Across history and cultures, millions of people have persoanlly encountered and experienced God. There are countless accounts of healings and other miracles, as well as lives transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit. Over 2 billion people in the world today claim to know and follow Jesus.

Argument from Consciousness
Matter alone does not explain self-awareness and subjective experience. Our conscious minds point to an ultimate conscious mind.

Argument from Reason
If our thoughts are only the result of blind processes, why trust them? Rational thinking may make more sense if our minds come from a rational Creator.

Argument from Free Will
Our experience of making real choices suggests that free will is genuine. This fits more naturally within a world created by a personal God than one governed solely by impersonal physical processes.

Big Bang Beginning of the Universe
Modern science suggests the universe had a beginning. Although the question of ‘how long ago?’ is hotly debated, a universe with a beginning fits with the idea of creation found in the bible.

Second Law of Thermodynamics
The universe is running down. If it had existed forever, it would already be exhausted – suggesting a beginning.

Origin of Life Argument
Life contains immense complexity and organisation. The leap from non-life to life is mathematically and biologically impossible. This clearly points to intelligent design.

Historical Argument (Resurrection of Jesus)
The life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are central historical events. There is substantial evidence that His tomb was empty, His followers saw Him alive, and their lives were radically transformed. The simplest explanation is that Jesus was who He said He was – God.

Reliability of the New Testament
The New Testament has strong manuscript support and early testimony, making it historically significant.

Fulfilled Prophecy Argument
Prophecies found in the bible, especially about Jesus, were fulfilled in history, pointing to divine knowledge.

Pascal’s Wager
Not a proof, but a practical argument: if God exists, the potential gain of believing outweighs the loss.

Argument from Human Dignity
Most people believe humans have intrinsic value. This is best grounded in being created by God.

Cumulative Case Argument
No single argument convinces everyone. But taken together, many lines of evidence can form a compelling overall case.

Romans 1:20 says: “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” God’s fingerprints are all around us.
